Windowsblinds causing an MMORPG to close

Hi,

Im currently having visitors and this boy installed a game called Silkroad on my PC...
we startet the game everything was running fine for 5 minutes then i recieved a dissconnet without any information .
So we started the game again and again everytime the same after 5- some minutes DC.
So i tryd to find the cause since there was no error log or anything...
Turned out windowblinds needs to be unloaded once unloaded and closed windowsblinds there was no more Dc comming up.
Why is that ? is there a way of telling Windowblinds to not skin the game itself or something like that so the task that is launched wont be effected by windowblinds ?
thanks in advance

You can try the following -

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen by double clicking the WindowBlinds icon in the system tray.

Click on Settings.

Click on the Per application tab.

Click on Add at the bottom.

Locate the exe for the game and select it.

Put a check mark under Total exclusion - Ignore this application and do not skin it.

Click OK and OK again.

You may need to reboot for the setting to take place and you may need to exclude any other exe file associated with that game.

Hankers' suggestion is a good one, and I suggest you do it.

You might also consider scanning for viruses and malware as the visitor might have different browsing habits, and the game might have been a Torrent download.

i think that hankers suggestion worked testing it atm.
I did not know there was an option for that

Thanks Doc and Thanks Hankers... The game should be clean i downloaded it myself from the official website but i made a virus check just in case...
Thanks for the super fast support =) now i can enjoy my windowblinds again without restarting over and over =)
