Multiplicity update/version website confusion.
What is happening to one of the most ingenious pieces of software ever written???
First off, I LOVE Multiplicity...I do not know why you do not promote it more, but even as a senior Software Engineer/Architect, it amazes ALL of my software engineer friends, family, etc. From controlling multiple computers in my room and the rest of the house, to using my netbook as a remote to my HTPC, to ported terminal both to my VPN-work site and simultaneous home haccess, it is one of my favorite pieces of software.
But, what is going on with your website?!?! I am just trying to find-out if I have the current version or if there are any updates. First off, I cannot even find the product page without going through sitemaps and external Google searches. The farthest I was able to find was this:
https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/downloads.asp
However, when I click on updates, downloads...anything, it brings me to some "Impulse" crud. I'm an experienced software engineer and web-designer, but I am NO Gamer! So why is everything bringing me back to some gaming site with a bunch of stuff I don't care about.
I remember having this problem months ago and I just gave-up that time. But this time I cannot just sit-by.. SO:
- Are you still supporting Multiplicity?
- Am I on the current version? (1.24)
- If not, as a paying customer, are any downloads available?
- Are my perpetual problems an indication that the greatest multi-computer control software is no longer being supported in-lieu of a bunch of kids games?!
Well, please help...and if you do not see what you have here, consider selling your rights to this software to a company that has a vision/impression of what you possibly have here. (I am a software engineer - I can see iPhone apps on this platform, SatNav car-integration to home computing, work/home links that surpass Remote Desktop or anything of that model.)
Thank you for your time and help,
MikeY
