SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You participate by running a program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. Through the manager app, Boinc, both the CPU(s) & GPU(s) are accessed whenever they drop below a usage threshhold, thus Boinc must be installed at boot & remain in memory.
