Enhancement: Collapsible Fences

Fences, in it's current implementation is great--like Windows "align icons to grid" on steroids. If you were able to collapse stacks, it would be taking the product one step even further towards organizing and cleaning up the Desktop.

Similar to Apple's Stacks concept: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nL6egC3wW24

This could even be a Pro feature (I'd buy it!).

Can you describe this a bit more?  I can see how the stack works on a dock, but want to make sure I understand your recommendation for Fences.

Have just downloaded this awesome product, thank you. After exploring it a little bit I came up with the same idea as proposed by

I can only describe the feature from user's point of view:

Sometimes number of icons inside the fence doesn't fit there. Scrolling feature helps a little bit, but we want to see all the icons inside the fence at the same time. So the feature we are demanding would maximise the fence size temporary to view all files at a glance. It could be realized by just changing the size of the fence or entering some kind of a full screen mode were you can view full view of just one fence and switch between fences.

P.S. I am from Russia, here we always try not to pay for a program }:) , however I would like to see this feature realized.

Thanks for the reply, Zargon0225.

I think I was envisioning a "collapse" button in the fence header that would shrink the area down to just the header. The use case being: I want to keep work-related/personal/project files on my desktop but only want them expanded when I'm doing work in that particular context. This would align with the "clean desktop" goal of Fences.

@DarkhanSarsenov I used to have the "get it for free if possible" attitude but as I've gotten older I've started to realize how important it is to support software houses, especially smaller ones like Stardock. Your call though!

The connection to Apple Stacks would be if there was a "temporarily expand fence" button available too or expand temporarily when mouse hovering the title (i.e. I have a collapsed fence, which has a file that I want to access but I don't need to expand the fence permanently).

would be nice to have mouse and keyboard way, not botton, something like double click on title opens it up or closes it down to title...

I love both of those ideas... being able to expand the fence to see everything and closing it to only the title.
