nope... I've gotten my fair share of sporadic ones here and there... Nasty little bugger isn't it...

would like to find the one that wrote these little buggers and hook some high voltage lines to his/her short hairs for a couple hours.

Yeah, a collegue got one from Israel yesterday... Of course he opened the attachments and the fun began in our network... I could hold the infection down to this one computer fortunately... So far for virus-warning mails in our company...

ya just have to love idiots who think virus warnings are meant for everyone else...

I've never been sent any sort of virus some how, I guess it's 'cause no one has me in their address books

Although that's probably only fair, as I have no one in mine either....

i got quite a few too heh my bro's computer got infected and i cleaned bugger off.

tips:

run regedit first! leave the regedit window up while you do rest of steps.

go to c:\recycled in windows me you cant see the file anyway so use dos for that part. heres commands:

c:
cd recycled
del sir*.exe

now, you computer cant run any exes now. did you remember to run regedit beforehand right?

use search to look for sirc32.exe. evenally you'll see it. "sirc32.exe %1 %t" or something like that.

right click it and edit it. remove the exe name compeletly leaving the "%1 %t" save it then reboot. it should work better now.
