Yes it has been released to OEMS and can be found at Softpedia

Ya run a beta, ya live on the edge....

I would not trust that at all OldMsgt. It would have been pre-released to technet subscribers long before OEMs. I am a technet subscriber and it has not been released there. I would bet that what you have is a leaked/warez build.

No it is not a warez, the forum w7 forum I refered to in the URL is a reputable forum and has very qualifed Mods,

It might be RTM it might not be.  MS has refuted its Russian branches earlier claim that that build would be RTM and we haven't heard anything since either way, except a whole lot of people are convinced it is.

As far as I know it has not been released to OEMs at all.

Ditto.

SP1 has NOT been released to OEM's. Your own link states it. I don't think it's warez, but that build was the last beta.....could be beta....could be final..... could be anything.

I know one thing, you're very trusting when it comes to your system drive. You did a backup image.....right???

Duh Yes, I could have always removed fences.

There is no living on the edge if you do a daily full backup and image. Also this SP1 allows for an uninstall.

I just thought I would let someone know so Fences does not screw up when the final version comes out.

Trusting yes, I suggest you check the credentials of Mike the Administrator on the w7 forum I referenced

To update this problem it no longer exists, I re-installed a Pre SP! backup image. I then installed SP1 again and cannot duplicate the problem been running fine with no problems for over 12 hours now. My opinion is that a file may have gotten corrupted in the initial install or later when I removed the backup files for the SP1 installation, as the initial install of SP1 ran fine for about 2 hours before the problem occurred

Update:01-19-2011 been running fine now for nearly 2 days problem as mentioned in previous posts could not be duplicated,
