CursorsFX show default window cursor when showing taskbar thumbnail (win7)

Omg, i just bought cursofx. and noticed that it show normal window cursor when i view taskbar thumbnail. and that is way ugly to make the cursor changing to theme and back to window normal cursor. as all of us use the taskbar to switch prgram so often. how do i get it fix?

Just noticed...mine does it as well. I'd open a ticket at Stardock Support. Then, be patient as it's the weekend and if you resend, you'll just kick it to the end of the answer queue.

I do not find that a big deal and actually I prefer it because the taskbar open windows previews are small and some cursors are on the large size unless you resize them in the settings. It only makes sense to me that a smaller window would call for a smaller cursor which the default cursor is. To say it is ugly means you find the default cursor ugly which you can change without using cursorfx.

Dude, it's not suppose to work that way, u see, we are using the task bar thumbnail to switch program like almost every few second. if the cursors gonna to change to normal window cursors and back to cursorsfx theme. then isn't it much better to just customize the default window cursors and use that? at least it stay constantly the same. i felt that stardock have miss out that part.

Well I guess we will just have to disagree on this one. To be honest I had not even noticed that until you mentioned it. It is after all the only time you see the default cursor. I would never stop using cursorfx because of that small issue. I like being able to change my cursor easy instead of doing it manually. It is not the only issue cursorfx has. For myself and many you have to apply the cursor twice to get it to work. I know that when we pay for something we expect it to work flawlessly but that is not reality. Reality is there are always things to improve on. That is what updates are all about.  Now that you have brought this issue up Stardock may or may not do something about it.

do you mean, you have fixed it and your cursorsfx do not return to window default cursor when viewing taskbar thumbnail? I went to the article page you posted, it's only meant to help user to troubleshoot if they have problem using aero, mine aero is working fine without any problems.

i have tried to restart aero by using the services method. but still having the default window cursor when viewing thumbnail.

can you please share how you fixed it?
