Cinema 4d Freezes with Objectdock

Hello,

i tried the object dock 2 as a demo to get a feeling for the workflow.

I am really happy to found such a great tool and I really would like to purchase it.

But actualy one major problem is in the way. If i start ObjectDock and my Cinema 4D R12

and I try to resize my window or try to change something in the options my cinema freezes till death.

I have to close it manually via the taskmanager. As soon as I unload the dock my Cinema works well.

Strange thing: As soon as I deinstall mein graphics driver I am able to user Dock and Cinema 4d r12 at the same time.

All the trouble fixes inside of the program (ObjectDock) doesn't help me further.

So now it is up to fix the problem, otherwise I cannot just buy this program, even if its that nice.

My System:

i7 920 CPU

6GB of RAM

2xSSD

2xHDD

Creative Audigy

Geforce GTX285 SSC EVGA 1GB RAM + 260.99 Drivers

Windows 7 X64 Ultimate

Running tools:

Rocketdock

Avira

QIP

SKYPE

Hope you can help me.

Best regards

This is a known compatibility issue between Objectdock and Cinema4D. The developer is aware of the issue, so a fix may be in the works. Unfortunately, there is no known workaround at this time.

Hey by the way, something strange is happening to sony vegas pro 10.

if i run Objectdock V2 demo and close a my Vegas the .exe doesn´t shuts.

After a while the program crashes. EXACTLY what happens with Cinema 4D too!

All this is happening if im running Objectdock V2.
Seems like this version is kinda buggy or why it leads to another crash with a different program...

I haven't seen problems with Vegas Pro 10, but I don't imagine it's a widely used application. I will let the developer know. Thanks.

What the heck, it is June 13th! That is OVER 6 months that the developer and company have been aware of the conflicts with Cinema 4D and Objectdock V2 - I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND HAVE BEEN FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. How about instead of spending 100% of the company's time on bloatware like Impulse which is BS; (someone needs make it clear how we can run our licensed products without that crap installed) - my disclosure said nothing of extra bloat-ware being mandatory!

Update Objectdock; it's your job (YOU, the developers...) or refund our licensing fees! Also there is no proper way to be removed from the IMPULSE mailing list. It (the website) conveniently simply sends you to nowhere - fix that crap too. I do not make "impulse buys" often AND WOULD NOT TOUCH YOUR IMPULSE SOFTWARE - OR ANYTHING THAT RUNS WITHIN IT IF YOU PAID ME; SO ENOUGH ALREADY!

Please contact us about fixing the conflicts with OBJECTDOCK V2 or refunding our license fees - also remove all of our email(s) from the IMPULSE SPAM lists!

As far as the C4D conflict, it is a purely simple matter; if I had the source we could turn a job around such as that in a couple hours, so don't think you are fooling anyone here... DYJ!

PAN_SCN_SUX ...thank you for your erudite input, however the fact that there has been no indication of a solution suggests that the compatibility issue is both fundamental and profound.

Not all such issues will be soluble, so if you are unhappy with your purchase I suggest contacting sales@stardock.com for resolution...;)

Also, if you'd like to be removed from their email lists, just click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of their emails.  It really does work, unlike spam. (or at least it did (?) )
