instalation on pc and laptop

hello everyone,

I dont really know in which thread i should post this one, so posting it in general is the safest.

I've been using the free version of a couple of progs of stardock for a long time (object dock/fences/....) but now i want something more, so i came

here to look for the pro-versions.

problem is, I'm using 2 laptops (1 for work and 1 for myself) and a desktop pc (that will be replaced by a better one soon)

now I wanted to know if i need to buy those pro versions like 3 times to use them on all of the computers (accualy only need them on the desktop

and my laptop). Or is there another way in which i only need to buy the prog once, and i can install it on all of my pc's?

another question which is comparable with the one above: if i change my old desktop with a new one, will i be able to use the applications of stardock

without needing to purchase them again?

Short answer - No

Form Stardock's FAQ's -

Q:  I have a laptop and a desktop. Can I install the software on multiple machines?

A:  Yes, to a point. Only 1 copy of the product can be used at once per license. But if you want to have it on both home and work or install it on the road that is not only allowed but recommended. As long as only one copy is actively in use (someone sitting at the computer) at any one time, you are covered.

Again the answer is no but I would suggest you remove the Stardock programs from your old computer in case you sell the computer to someone.

Feel free to install SD apps on your three PCs.  Stardock is cool like that and doesn't want to screw their users.
