I give up! (DXlabel.dll)

Is there any documentation on this? I've scoured my drive and the net but can't find a thing. AND, it seems to me, that once I hit the validate button, no amount of effort to change font color or anything else is allowed. *sigh*

I haven't the slightest clue of what the heck you're talking about.

DXlabel is an add-on for DeskTopX that lets you control WinAmp, create clocks, etc...

OK. Sorry, I don't use Winamp, and for a clock I use DXDigitalClock.dll

I hear ya DaWebMassa, this thing has great potential, but jeez! I currently only use it to show current i.p. address. BTW, version 3.5d4 does have a help file included,(DXToys.chm), but I find it a little lacking. Yoran is working on version 3.6 due 'in a week or 2', promising a cleaner interface, as well as some new goodies. AND, all of this is from DX newsgroup, so if I am pointing out the obvious, forgive me.

i have had 'some' luck with it, so if i can be of assistance, let me know, or just send me an object with a description of what you want, and i'll try to "get dorky wit' it".

BTW, paxx, since you are delving into the DX side, DXtoys is a plug-in found in some themes/objects that in a single plug-in, controls probably 30 or more things. its in the stardock.desktopx.plugins newsgroup.

DaWebMassa, this is a very old version of dxtoys before it was called dxtoys. I wouldn't use it, myself.

Cool, I'll look into it then.
While on the topic, one thing I've always wanted to have was a desktop calendar (a real calendar showing the whole month). Can this plugin do that, or anybody knows if somebody is doing something like that?

Dork... thanks mucho for the low-down! Since I just got back into DX, I was unaware that DXToys was a newer incarnation. Lemme get myself updated and if I still need help, I may take you up on your offer.

TurdFerg... that's odd since your Chloe theme is where I first realized it's existance.

paxx, Dx plug-ins currently only show variations on the current date, but i use rainlendar http://webmail.nic.fi/~rainy/ as a full desktop calendar. It is a LiteSTEP .dll that also has an .exe and can be used with explorer, read the readme on how to setup/autostart/skin it.

DaWebMassa, welcome(back)...
I am just returning to DX myself and fighting to catch up. Currently working on a port of one of Aleksyadr's WB skins. fun, fun...

Yes, I know of Rainlendar's existance and I use it when I have the Explorer desktop, but I wanted to be able to have a DX desktop.
It probably will come eventually. I can wait.
