Removing a file..........help please!

I have a *.psd file on my desktop that I can't move/delete/rename!!! Everytime I try to do the afore-mentioned things, I get an error message that the file is in use by a program or someone else....but it's not. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated

Re-boot into safe mode and delete the file....

Or you can try disassociating it from the prog its used in.
