Hear ye, hear ye, Stardock employees will be on an extended break from November 25th through the 28th for Thanksgiving.  We will be returning on Monday the 29th, and we want to wish all of you a Happy Holiday, and hope you have slightly more food than you can stand!

Download the installer to your PC. Start in safe mode, install. Oh, and be sure UAC is turned off.

Curious. what does error code 2330 mean? Could be a clue in there that might help. Just a suggestion.

Huh ... if the error code is linked to iTunes how does that affect Impulse? Conflict? Maybe if mdchalice has iTunes he should disable it? Reaching for straws here. Also linked to Windows installer and quicktime.

itunes can be a bugger, i have read numerous stories about it doing strange things, this isnt the solution, but once you mentioned itunes, me personally i would remove itunes completely with no evidence of it existing (if thats possible) then i would install impulse, download the whole program not just the installer, and i believe there are better apps to replace itunes, and they are free, cant remember the names but itunes has a nasty reputation, maybe its the apple-MS thing , who knows but thats what i would do, i do believe Zune is far superior than itunes,

well thanks for the suggestions guys and i even thought we might of had it licked the the ituens but due to me recently installing that bugger....but...i have uninstalled ALL things apple,even quicktime lol. ran 2 different registery cleaners after that and still no go with impulse :(

i'm really just more tired of this than i am angry now but sux for me since my OD membership doesn't even run out until Nov. of 2011. btw i thought if i was a subscriber of OD my membership would allow for unlimited downloads on wincustomize? hell i cant even download anything even i did have my proggys up to date...

Your "Customer Level' under the mdchalice shows as 'Visitor' and not 'Current Customer' which probably is the reason for your download issue.

Perhaps you have more than 1 login account under different email addresses.

You would need to contact support@stardock.com to have them combine the accounts under your preferable login.

btw still waiting for stardock support to respond to my email from Nov. 24th.

is this normal time frames for a response i wonder? take out the 3 day break for holidays

that still makes it a 3 day wait so far...
