MCP Error/DesktopX

When DX2 was released, I uninstalled my beta build, rebooted, then installed DX2 fresh. After which, I noticed that SmartStartup never appeared...it usually loaded KLP and DX. I also noticed that the MCP is not available for download on Stardock Central. Noiw, I get an error everytime loading themes that use the MCP for tray functions, it says the MCP is not found. So what happened? Was the MCP cut out and just included with DX. If so, how come it's not working? Any ideas appreciated...

Hi Hus...MCP had a bug about a week ago so they pulled it off SDC until they fix it. I think you're going to keep getting that error until they put it back up...some themes and objects work and some don't. You'll just have to try different ones until you get one to work. My understanding from the newsgroups it shouldn't be long before they have it fixed. Wish I could give you a better remedy, but for now I think you just have to grin and bear it...
