Object Dock 2 and Start Menu issues

So the current issue is I have the bottom left dock showing my running applications..

Now on Vista I had it to where everything auto loads to the RIGHT of the start button, with a seperator.

Now on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (fresh installed 2 days ago) everything auto loads to the LEFT without the seperator I have already put in on the right..

Now when I move the icons around, sometimes it will remember to do what I need it to, but most of the time, it loads to the right...

Is there any way to make it do what I want it to, or am I just out of luck and have to move everything over EVERY time?

Awesome so I paid money for software and I get no support whatsoever. Very very nice. I make an eticket and it says 'someone will reply shortly to assist you' it's been 3 days. I post here, with 40 views and no one remotely tries to help

Stardock is not open on weekends.  We respond to support tickets within 2 business days.

I have never seen this issue, but I will let support know about your post.

Once you get your configuration the way you want it, try closing the dock and reopening.  Settings are saved when the dock is shut down, and if it is not shut down correctly they may not save.

I've restarted it, I've unloaded it. I've recreated it, I've done everything imagineable to make it save, and it doesn't. I've ran it as an admin, It just doesn't save. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate. And I'm getting quite frustrated.

Edit: How would YOU suggest I shut it down?

Right click an empty spot on the Dock and select "Quit".

I use the same functionality and these icons always appear on the right side of my dock. Something very strange about your system.

For whatever it's worth, I have the same problem on ONE computer (of 3). The 32 bit Win 7 and 64 bit Win 7 machines both saved settings when I did as above ("Quit") then restart Object Dock 2. BUT one computer (32 bit Win 7 'starter' on a netbook) wouldn't save the settings even following those instructions

SO ... first I went to {settings --> settings --> troubleshooting options --> open settings folder so i an backup ...} and I DELETED the 4 items in it.  Then I closed OD and opened it up again. Thought maybe resetting the files wouldn't be a bad idea. When I restarted OD the same dock came up, tho.

But then I opened up a couple other programs and moved the icons where I wanted them  on the right hand side of the dock.  I then "QUIT" again and SHUT DOWN (not restarted) the machine.

Started up again and ... It still doesn't work and I'm out of ideas.  Help????
