Digital Clock

Ok, i can't find anywhere a working clock that suits what i want: a simple 'HH mm'-string that displays the time.

Since i'm into programming etc. i figured i could aswell make one my one since it can't be that hard.

Now i'm just asking, how do you start making a docklet?
To make a java program or something i would just open an IDE for java and start programming,
but i don't know how to go about it for Objectdock docklets...

I found these 2 by searching "clock" in the OD gallery:

https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/6433/

https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/objectdock/2249/

They're kind of old, not sure that they still work.  Even if they don't it might be a place to start if you want to tinker.

Searching a gallery is a little tricky, it keeps wanting to search all galleries instead of just the one you're looking at, you have to type in your search string and then click on the little gallery icon next to the search box even though it's showing while you're entering the search text.

I've never used this one, but it looks pretty cool:

Thanks for the many replies,

However i tried the clocks mentioned by: DaveRI, they don't work anymore for me..
I've also found the clock mentioned by:
G3mpi3. It does work and it looks good, but i rather wanted a 'simple' time string, as in a white font with black border, nothing more, rather boring actually...

Same goes for the clocks mentioned by
Nimbin, Sydneysiders and karmat

The clock Scrofulous1 posted is actually something i needed, except for the fact i can't change the size of the font of the clock, which i contacted Adni for. (the clock is now twice as high as my objectdock icons)

For now i'll stick with this, so thanks for the support !
