Cursor Fx...loss of Normal Cursor

For some reason, my Cursor Fx Normal Cursor reverts to the default Windows arrow, while all the others remain as specified under Cursor Fx.  Correlations of this behavior (I have not been able to nail absolute causation yet) include switching monitors in Multiplicity and navigating the Wincustomize Page in IE 8.  This is all on a Win XP Pro system with all the current updates.  Opening Cursor FX and applying the current theme always restores the correct current theme normal cursor....though this process is getting tiresome.

Suggestions???    TIA.

Hmm.  Thought I did....   WinXP Pro with all current updates on desktop with 4gig,  Muliplicity interaction/use seems to be my trigger...  --Larry
