FYI Prestige Error

Does this happen in a new game started under 1.09?

If not, please post the save.

Could you please provide a screenshot that shows the screen where you see this bonus?  Also, if you could send us your saved game, that would help us to identify the problem.

Also, were you playing with any mods?

It was in a game I started under 1.08 and then updated to 1.09 and continued playing.  I am not running any mods.

I will send an email with the requested files to support@stardock.com (because quite honestly I rarely post on forums and have no idea how to include that info in a post).

Royalty gives a 100% bonus now, per person with the ability.

Yeah, with your sovereign, their children, grandchildren and any royalty champion on top of that, it's not inconceivable to have a 1000% bonus late game.

If that is what was happening it would be over 1000%. Between sovreign, children, grand children and great grandchildren and hired champions I have well over 10 characters with Royalty (probably closer to 20). And more of them have reached adulthood since I came across the 1000% issue and it hasn't changed.

I apologize, you may be right.  I just loaded up my game to check it out. I thought some of my descendents had the royalty trait and they actually don't. It looks like the number is somewhere around 10 people.

I had missed the update on the royalty bonus in the change log, so I was very surprissed to see my cities jump from +4 to +44 (and my home city to +99) and it definitely didn't seem right. I ended up with three fairly new cities hit metropolis level in about 20 turns which seemed rather fast.

Okay, I was definitely wrong. I just found and hired a champion that increases prestige and the bonus went up to 1100%. Sorry for wasting your time. Between the large increase in the bonus and that it happened to be a perfect 1000% I made an assumption that it had to be mistake when it wasn't.
