Dragon Quest problems.

Not sure if i missed it i nthe forums but is anyone else having problems with the dragon's egg quest? I've completed it in every game after the latest patch last friday and either the dragon isnt in my party after it says its going to join me or i get the egg and the quest location to turn it in at has vanished and all the other quest location wont give me another quest as well .

Thanks for any info.

I have encountered similar problems. Once, I believe the version was 1.07, I decided to do the quest asap after I got it. So I did it as fast as possible, trashing the group, getting the egg and returning it within same turn (with only a handful of units going back to quest giver, just to be sure), and I got the dragon. Don't know what of those did the trick, but it worked.

 

I have missed it numerous times though. And the creature is overpowered in the wrong hands anyway. :)

I've encountered the none appearing or vanishing quest location bug, vut not the dragon failing to appear in your party. Keep in mind that you might not see it appear on the map if your party is already large (has many different units in it). But it should show in the bottom right of the UI when the party is selected and in combat.

I've got a similar problem.  Got the egg and the quest location marker is on the map (yellow hut), but when I go to it, nothing happens.  It doesn't open up a dialogue box or anything to complete the quest.

When I got the quest the location of the egg was not revealed. I was sad.

 

Also had a lvl 3 quest location disapear after I tabbed out. Even reloading my game would not restore it. I was impressed. Never played a game where tabbing out permently removes content.

As posted here ( https://forums.elementalgame.com/397679 ) i had the dragon quest bug too. I have started the quest with my doughter and then caught the egg with my sovereign then finished the quest with the sovereign but no dragon appeared although the text said the dragon will now join you :(.

In general i had some problems with questing, but with the other ones I think were my fault.

I had a big Dragon Quest problem too, Had a hell of a time fighting that Knight to get Erdricks armor and killing that dragon to save the princess...

never had that quest for eldricks armor is that a modded quest ? i thought saggogs quest was the final quest??

I fetched the egg and returned it.  I received the message about the Dragon joining me.  Alas, no Dragon.  (On a previous game the same message and the Dragon joined me.)

usually I get this error when some one other then the leader of the group who got the quest finishes the quest and / or the leader that got the quest is not the one in the stack carrying the egg. If you save just after getting quest and make sure leader of group gets the egg and returns it , this should prevent the error.

Same as strongking -- did the whole quest with just my sovie by himself.  Dragon said he would join, the disappeared.  But it worked for me too a week or two ago.

I had a similar problem yesterday.  I got the egg and returned to the dragon, but nothing happened.
