Weren't archers fixed?

The problem is like me you have the beta of the multiplayer (because like me you keep beta versions switched on in preferences). There where two hotfixes for the non-beta single player only game the second on fixed archers. But only the first one was released for the beta which included mutliplayer.

They said Monday for the second one, haven't seen it yet but who knows maybe later.

Does this bug also effect catapults because I been dragging two around for 1000 turns and they done a single point of damage. 

Also, having trouble with special attacks from units,  savage strike crashes me to desktop no matter if it is me or the AI that uses it.

The rock elemental and the little demon I summoned could hit the ground with there hat. (Even it comes to casing there spell).

I am having more problems now than in 1.07.

It does effect catapults too I believe, shouldn't effect the rock demons hand to hand attack just the rain of stone. If they don't patch soon I'll have to uninstall, turn of betas and re download.

They did mention that you needed to start a new game to get the fixes.  I believe this is because the changes are located in the XML, which only gets read at the beginning of the game.

Based on what we have seen so far, it seems like a good practice to start a new game with each update.

Yep I played a 1200 turn game with a hole team of archers that never hit squat.  On the plus side the computer attacked one of my towns with nothing but 6 catapults and they didn't hit squat either. I actually finished them of with 2 squires LOL. Guess turn about is fair play eh?

But I reinstalled the game so how could I have the beta again? I didn't reinstall beta

like rwemack said you have to start a new game for it to take effect.  With all the patches coming out every week, kind of tough to make it through an entire game.
