How to remove the automatic spawning of recources

I've created a few maps now, within the large map limit that are to my liking, however every time i start one up to play, te game adds ''extra resources'' how can i prevent this from happening? iam also creating a 20 by 20 map, with resource pockets making the player heavily dependend on trade, and this random function bodged the whole idea.

When fixed and play tested i would gladly post my maps on the forums, there seems to be a demand for them, until the inbuilt mod and map library is fixed. so does anyone know a simple and reliable filehost.
