[1.07][Crash] Lock up

The computer locks up; this has been a problem for some time with elemental. Forces me to turn off the computer and reboot cold, because no keyboard or mouse input is allowed. Often occurs when dialogs come up: this one was the research dialog.

I'm enjoying the game, I support the game, have through beta, but this bug and cold reboots are making it dangerous to use.

Out of curiosity, are you using a laptop cooling pad or anything like that? I don't know if it's still the case, but a couple of years back with GC2 most of these sorts of issues on bootcamp macbooks were caused by heat.
