tactical mode? (way to skip main map straight to it?)

would it be possible to mod the game to only do tactical battles so you could skip kingdom/empire management etc? in other words go straight to the tactical screen final fantasy tactics stye? obviously that brings up other isues like having abiltiies, spellls, armor, weapons , basically anything you research preset when you to go the tactical  battle screen unless someone wants to set up a way to learn this stuff mid battle lol. which i guesss means you would have to go to the mod section on the main menu.
