I am using 1.90 with Win 7 64

I am using 1.90 plus version with Win 7 64. What am I missing? I thought it was not compatible but I don't see a problem. Why is it that 1.90 plus users need to pay for an upgrade for 2.0., especially a beta version?

1.90 users can pay to upgrade to the 2.o beta if they choose, they don't have to. They can wait until the beta goes full, then pay for the upgrade. Or they can choose to stay with the 1.9 version and spend nothing.

I believe Stardock gave us a special price to upgrade while in beta, the price may not still apply.

One never has to pay to upgrade unless they want to. You can always opt to keep your existing version.

Not all of the features are supported. For example, the start menu docklet doesn't work.

I gotta say, Ive always loved object dock...its one of the few add ons that I use 100% of the time.  I too an running Win7 64bit and really see no compelling reason to upgrade.  Maybe Ver3?

If you decide you want to test drive it, you can try ObjectDock v2 Free here:

Yes, I too have been using V1.9 for a long time now with W7 (32bit).  I decided to upgrade and got as far as logging into Paypal and then I got this message:

Pre-Requisite must be purchased first
You must have purchased the pre-requisite product before attempting to purchase ObjectDock Plus v2 Upgrade.
Please check the product purchase page for more information.

Hurggghhh.  I'm the customer here, the one who should be nurtured.  I must do what?  Must?  MUST?  What about a little tact such as "We're sorry, but you'll need to download another product before you can download your upgrade.  The reason is........."  I could go on but I'm sure you've got some marketing guys in there who can be a bit creative.

Then just in case I can't understand your dictatorial command you tell me again.  What about inserting a link to the page I must go to?  If I go to the "product page" where do I go then?

So, sorry guys, I'm quite happy with V1.9.

I see that there is already a registration for ObjectDock Plus 2 on your Impulse account. The reason that you were getting a message about not having the pre-requisite is because you need to have the original Objectdock Plus registration under your Impulse account for the store to recognize it. I can merge the registrations to under your Impulse account if you'd like.
