[1.06][Minor bug] Alzor's Armor

I don't know if this was a fluke or if this quest is broken, but when I just completed the "Alzor's Armor" quest by defeating the defending spiders a message pops up (I think it said that I take the armor).  However, I never received any armor.  Is this a bug or does my reading comprehension just suck and the message said something like "Poof, the armor disappears. It was merely an illusion."

By any chance did you played as one of the fallen factions or is your champion/sovreign a fallen?

If you still have the save game load it, select the hero and then Trade Items, there should the Armor appear! Now you can trade it on someone Non-Fallen and in theory he/she will be able to carry it.

I had this problem as well with a Wraith sov.

Oh, that's what the deal is?  It always pissed me off that I got this cool armor, and it said it didn't fit me so all I could do was sell it.  I guess I've only played Fallen sovereigns (even with kingdoms).  Is there any weapon/armor that is exclusive to the Fallen?

I had this same bug in 1.05.  I had a save right before fighting the spiders and no matter how many times I loaded and beat them, I never saw the armor.  I even tried emptying out my sov's inventory completely before the fight, and still no armor.  I even checked the inventory of every unit in my army.  My sov is kingdom of men, btw.

It simply didn't exist anywhere.  I've yet to actually see it.  I believe the same thing happened with Moriah's lost spell book.  The popup said I could research new spells now, but I can't.  I'm at level 5 spells and I still don't see the mountain spell (which I'm told is what it gives you).

Quests that do not give their rewards are getting VERY frustrating.
