Able to build multiple labor pits/money changers sometimes - is this normal or a bug?

Occasionally, when creating a new building in a city, I can place it 2 or more times.  Other times I click the starting labor pit, place one and then I cannot build any more.

Is this somehow based on terrain or some other unexplained aspect of the game?  Am I supposed to only be able to place one?

Another question: when I find something like a short sword - does my sovereign (or whatever champion finds it) automatically equip it?

Another question: How do you heal your sovereign?  I have been returning all the way to my city to heal - is there another way?

- There is a bug in the construction screen. If you don't exit the screen you can sometimes build multiples of the same building.

- You have to go to your sovereign's equipment window and equip it.

- You naturally heal over time very slowly. It is faster in cities and some high level spells will heal. You can also buy food or potions to heal you and the medicine pack heals you one point per turn.

You have to equip stuff. It doesn't equip automatically that I have seen. Can click the sword next to HP on the main map with the sov/champ you want to equip stuff on selected. Then just click the thing you want to equip.

There are healing spells you get later if you are a Kingdom nation. Cities are still usually the fastest way since mana regen from casting heal will take awhile.

Anytime you are in your area of influence, you will heal, but you do heal faster in a city.

You can buy the medical pack which gives you +1 regen so you can heal anywhere.

Other than that, as others mentioned, there's food, potions, and spells
