Warlord Sentinels

Hi,

I don't post very much, but I felt that this is rather important.

The Sentinels are now rubbish.

You spend your *Profession* choice for 2 soldiers who have less HP than a Peasant, and are un-upgradable STR 5?

Compare this choice with something like "Royalty".  Clearly out of whack.

I suggest making them unnamed (or named) Champions who have 8HP apiece and start with Oak Spears and a Jerkin.  That way we can level them and they grow so that they stay marginally useful with new items.

they do give you an early boost as your sov and the two snetinels can basicly wipeout anything in the wilds until the monsters start getting stronger.

Gives you sov a fairly sizable advantage in early XP gain.

I agree... they used to be just too overpowering... now their "ok".

Dont they level up along with time or sov or something? one game i looked at them several turns in and they were little one man armies for being free.

Well beating early mobs = more gold/xp.

More gold = more +resource buildings.

More +resource buildings = more resources.
all of this sooner than normal (upping your growth curve) 

seems comparable to a +resource trait.

They also allow for some early rush options.  

They should be upgradable though - all units should be.
