Impulse rules!

It just does....period!

I love it and no amount of negative posts will sway me. How frakking convenient to have one app that keeps track of my serials and lets me know about updates!

Now you nay sayers can go back to bitching.

THANK YOU TIM    :)

I'm sick of all these people complaining about one of the best pieces of software that Stardock has given us.  X|  I just can't understand why people dislike it. Impulse is great! -end of story!

I agree with the title....there is nothing wrong with Impulse. It is a great app, and makes my life easier.

Cheers for Impulse.

I think you ought to stop with all your negativity, Tim. ;) :D

In fact, I have to agree. I don't understand what people have against it...for all the reasons you cited, but also for the irc, which allows us to report problems quickly and get help quickly as well.

I too think it's a great app, and if the bargains notifications bother you (I'm not into gaming), that can be turned off.

Maybe when hdd's were tiny and space was a major consideration the objections would be understandable, but now? Nonsense.

Impulse alters nothing on one's computer and only makes life easier. Thanks, SD for a really good app.

Yeah I don't get it. It's an installer than does more than one app. Maybe they just had something similar that gave them a hard time...who knows. It's nice being able to verify the installs of all the apps in one place...and come to think of it...other installers don't even do that.

Bottom line is that most folks figure out that Impulse is not an evil piece of software and move on. :sun:

Concise and to the point, Doc.  I never had a problem with Impulse.  To me it is a significant upgrade to Stardock Central, and being it manages all my customisation apps and more, it is integral to my computing experience.

As for nay sayers... best to ignore them. ;)

Works great for me. I have a number of programs installed and it's so convenient to have all my serials taken care of for me and to have updates at my fingertips.

Gone are the days of endless patches, which you can never keep track of, and hours of searching and downloading. Ahh, the good old days...

As for the whingers, their views are of no value to me...

I love Impulse but just read the error log after it updated itself. How do I uninstall Impulse and then reinstall it.

BTW. I haven't seen or have been asked to update anything in weeks.

I have no problems with Impulse.

Don't have it on my startup, fire it up on the weekends to check for updates, news and for the latest catalog. Easy to install my software when I swap computers.

Yes it does rule  ... keep up the good work guys
