Elemental - MP beta test?

So, I completely realize that elemental is primarily a SP game.  I love that.  But it has a MP element.  SD - Have you guys already received a lot of feedback from folks playing in MP?  Have the results been good?  Is this something that is on your radar?  I see myself as playing elemental quite a bit in SP, but maybe even more so in MP with my pals.  Just curious as to the feedback.  Are there any concerns at this point about stability based on total population playing in MP?  I'm wondering if the game is a big success if there are enough servers, stress test, blah blah...

I'm quite happy to hear from any of your forum folks as well with your experience in playing MP.

...eventhough (truth be told) Elemental is not my cup of tea,  I'd be more than happy to lend my hand at networkd config-testing MP for Elemental in order to help out.

I'm also willing to test people's "hosting setups" and help them work out issues........you all know where to find me........ O:)

I was wondering about MP as well. I'll probably never do much MP, except with my friends, but it's still important. They did the MP test beta a while ago, but it was pretty much just a "let's make sure this works" type of test, not anything serious. Then it was disabled, and I'm not sure if it's back yet with Beta 4 or not. All the best balancing suggestions come from the MP people, because SP people don't care if some thing is unbalanced, as long as it is in their favor.

Assymetric balance is usually the preference (I think) of SP/MP goers ... with especially SP goers liking their few but powerful balanced against their opponents' weak yet myriads.

Yeah - I think the MP side of things is just super low on their priorities now.  There's nothing we can test in the current beta as its still disabled, so really not any feedback we can provide.  Guess any feedback will have to come after release unless they choose to post another beta with MP enabled again.

Well since MP is so loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow on their important list I wouldn't get all worked up about MP being very good out of the box. They didn't even give you MP guys anything to look at or test. hahahahahah That should tell you how important MP and balance for it is. I would imagine many patches and fixes will be done for SP before MP is even looked at again.
