Problems with skinning the start menu

Hey sorry to bother you guys, but I,m having trouble making my start menu appear correctly in skin studio 3, I made my start menu the same size as the one thats in skin studio but when I import it the start menu is strecthed out when previwed on the screen and is blurry, I tried increasing the size but that only made it worse can some one please help me out with this problem so that I can finish my skin by friday..... Also the program I,m using to make my images are Paint shop pro 8

Make sure your margins are set correctly.

Looks like you only used 1 image,it has to be 5 images strung ened to end in a single image

Thanks Braniac for the help that fix the problem but now I have one little problem it seems like everytime I save it will ask me if I want to replace every thing and as soon as I do my skin gets corrupted is there anyway I can avoid this problem and save my self alot of greif and pain by not having to do the skin by scratch everytime it gets f***** up ?

Sounds like you have one of the 'bad' versions of SS.See if there is an update available or reinstall a previos version.Or just uninstall and do a new install.I've never had SS ruin a WB yet.I had problems awhile back making a WMP skin but the latest versions work fine for me now.I would suggest saving all your graphics to a separate folder at least until you are done.That way the worst you would have to do is re-import all the images.(tho thtas a heck of a lot of work in itself)
