Converting PNG icons to ico

Can someone explain which programs are good to convert png icons to ico icons..And I would like to learn how to make zoomers for DesktopX. Is there a link where I can learn how to do this..

This is by far the best and easiest for converting to Icons http://www.axialis.com/iconworkshop/index.html

Not sure on the DX stuff though
