Pathetic players joining newb matches *Mastertuna*

I recently started to play Demigod after my roommate turn me on to it.  He taught me the basics and it is a great game but after this match, I might just stick to Lan play with him. 

I join this game titled newb and mid game.  I was surprised to fine 300+ gamers in it with 50+%.  I had a 200 game with a low percentage playing reg and a 0/0 gamer on my team. I didnt think twice and ready up and started to play.

The rook on our team was god awful and luckly raged early so we had a semi chance.  However that was short lived when my roommate revealed what the oak player, Mastertuna was doing agianst our team.  Full minon build and just rushing our cit.

 

I understand this is a strategy in the game but I think it needs to be called to the community how pathetic this player is for using it in a newb game.

Now having 5 early kills wasn't enough for their team but they had to resort to this strategy is just pathetic. When Mastertuna, was called out on it he responded with "Well, it's a win". 

From what my roommate said, new good players are a rareity and thats why he wanted me to start up but after seeing these tactics used and completly assholness from the other players I played with, I'm almost over it.

If this is a community that just likes playing the same people and newb stomping, well have fun with that.

Hmmm, interesting... I hate to break it to ya... but yes this happens a lot in just random games...

If you want good games consistently  Then I would recommend getting on vent

Minion Oak is gay, I agreed. But, Vent is the best way to learn and get good players with mostly non-jackass players. Though if you play with Peter he will go minion FYI.

Yeah my roommate vents with you guys but I am still a new player (less then 10 games) and prob will just get stomped in vent games so I am stuck in these newb stomping games for now lol.

You'll get stomped, yes, but usually you'll learn faster than you will struggling through otherwise. Some people are more tolerant of newbies than others.

You'll get stomped, yes, but usually you'll learn faster than you will struggling through otherwise. Some people are more tolerant of newbies than others.

not tolerant of newbies? I play with newbs. I just don't like playing with newbs against other people on Vent, or with newbs who think they are awesome. 

I don't mind playing with newbs against pugs, regardless if they are on vent or not.

hehe maybe, but there are enough people on vent that you can get a good game going with people who will tolerate a noob... plus if we really need to have fair teams Synn or whatever his name is now can just play rook...

When you join a game or host one, be sure all players SHOULD be in this game. If not, jut dont hit ready, ask to the host to kick them, open a new slot for new player. You will see lot of players joining noob/mid game to get easy win. If the host wont kick them, open new slot or doing nothing....just leave the game and wait for another. There is no fun when you get rape by a better player or a player that isnt at his place on the game.

without going into too much detail or going on about oak tearing down the citadel with spirits, I think they error might have been in the game title - noob and mid.  Tuna is a mid.  So, he'd fit in this game just fine, but of course, if there are only other new players there, he's going to have a pretty big advantage.  I'd suggest hosting or joining noob or new player games only while you are learning.
