Iconpackager question

Hi there.
Do any of you know if it's possible to change the icons in the 'sidebar' of windows XP?

screenshot:

as you can see it's pretty ugly to have those two icons be the only ones that have yet to be changed, and i'm having a difficult time finding where to change them.

any help?

In Iconpackager config/others you should have an icon setting for each one of those (the two you showed included) that you can change...some Windows icons will, by default, not change, but I think these two will......

thanks for your help, but they still refuse to change. i was able to find the desktop icon in 'others' and the recent documents icon under 'folders', but no luck in changing them.

After digging a little I think your stuck...I removed both 'recent' and 'desktop' from showing a long time ago so I wasn't sure...I did right click on desktop and all the icons showing are Windows default (those two included). If you want you can simply stop them from showing, but if you use them a lot that could be a real pain...

Using Creative Elements Power Tools, you can change the links appear in the File Dialog Places bar. I've found that by setting them up with CEPT, the icons are the same as IP.   http://www.creativelement.com/powertools/
