Some problems with 3B

Hi,

this might be due to my machine, but it seems like I cant load any games under 3B (worked most of the time under 3A) in addition to getting constant crashes when I try to build a farm.

And I might have missed that one, but how I am supposed to be able to cast spells during tactical combat? I only get the "attack" button here and despite knowing a bunch of spells (which are happily cst duing auto resolve, too) I can't manually cast any spell. WAD for now or am I missing something here?

Seems nobody can cast spells in tactical battles at present :-(. I've found when loading it helps to leave it at the title screen for 30 secs, click load, select the save, wait thirty seconds, then click to load the game. Seems this helps others as well btw.

anyway no, i COULD cast spells, the first game i did they worked

 

now in the last 3 4 i couldnt, dunno

Quests need to be re-tuned, I think. I just got a gigantic red dragon as a companion, with an attack power of about 950 or something. Also, that dragon now is so big, he conceals most hexes around my sovereign.The quest itself was pretty trivial, with one big combat, which is at the moment an autowin as long as one can attack and move without running out of space to move to. Retaliatory strikes really need to get into tactical combat.

Thx, will try to see if waiting helps with loading a game for me.

Anybody else always crashing when trying to build a farm, too? This is a real killer for me at the moment.

Not sure what did it (will try to play around with this one some more later), but I changed some options including using windowed mode now and I can build farms now without crashing (had 4 crashes in a row there before), taking time while trying to load a game helps, too, ths fpr your input :)

How long do you need to wait at the Load Game screen before you can successfully load a game?  100% of the time now it just keeps playing the intro movement and doesn't seem to actually be getting anywhere loading the game.  Someone who has been able to load into a game successfully, how did you do it?  I thought "fine, I'll just play without loading save games" then the game crashed. :-(  So far loading doesn't work on my computer, plus the game can just crash for no apparent reason, making it hard to do much testing. :-(

The mentioned 30sec at the different screens worked for me, might be able to skip some of them faster, but I havent got around to testing this yet.
