Aussie gamers?

Hey all. Is there any AUS gamers here? I am getting sick of a 700+ MS host and so on. If there is please post here so we can meet up and play some games together

If you're getting more than 350 to players in the US, you have a problem with your internet connection. There were quite a few Australian players, but most of them left because there weren't enough to create games that didn't lag. You should be able to play with Russian and Asian players though right?

No, I don't have a problem with my internet connection. Good luck connecting to 5 players in the US/Europeb with less than 350.

Exxcentric is from Australia. He connects to me on the East coast of the US with 300ms

That is my point. While you and others from US and so on have a 1 sec delay. Someone with 300 MS has a 3 sec delay. THIS IS MY POINT!!! Is there any Aus gamers out there? I want some real games not ones with 3 sec delay.

Yes I am from AUS and you should be getting very good pings to US and 300-400ms for EU if your connection is setup right. I have some fairly reasonable games with EU ppl as long as there is no dramatic packet loss involved.

700ms is bs and is likely a problem at your end.

A three second delay is not playable and shouldn't be happening.  750 ping sounds rather high unless you're on the moon.

It's tough for Aussie players... probably why most of them left.  The ones I play with now and then tend to have high pings but don't necessarily lag.  As long as you're below 300 you should be fine.

Are you spiking at all?  In other words, does your lag go up and down during a game? That could mean you have bandwidth issues, not latency issues.  I live in Hawaii and have a couple of different connections I played from.  One of them would be fine most of the time as long as I didn't play 4v4... but sometimes I could only play 2v2.

Thats the thing about this game... you need more upload bandwidth for every extra person in your game and sometimes you can run low and have lag spikes.  I have relatively lag free games with Europeans sometimes, so you shouldn't have a problem if all the players in your game are from mainland US.  Possibly you have a router or some other connection issue that you're mistaking for just being in Australia.

Give out some more info on your setup so we can maybe help yah out... but if you're hoping to get all the old Aussies back in game, sorry you're out of luck.

300ms = 0.3 seconds. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

AU here :) add me as friend! :)

yere i am fine as long as there is no proxy to a high pinged player

as split says 300 milliseconds = 0.3 Seconds (ie divide a second by 1000)

i can play fine with even up to 400ms connections provided no more than 3v3 and play 4v4 with all au and us players.

I have ADSL 2+. With ADSL1 if i was using the interent for ANYTHING it would kill my game.

Hope to see you round

No I am not after to being all the aussies back. I just got this game and wanted to see if other aussies were playing so we can get some AU power match's going. I really didn't think anyone would be playing this anymore { Just glad people are }.
