Fences and Virtual Desktops are compatible?

Hi there

I have a Fences Pro license. Today I installed a virtual desktop app. Is there any way of installing fences single?, i.e on a single desktop?

Or Fences is not compatible with Virtual Desktop software? Must I uninstall fences? Regards.

They are compatible, but you will only be able to use Fences on the original desktop.

Thanks Dewie for your fast reply.

I already have Fences installed and some fences created.

I installed a virtual desktop app. If I deleted these fences on  the virtual desktop am I´m not deleting them on all of them?

Regards.

Changes that you make to your fences on any of the virtual desktops affect the original (real) desktop.

Based on how Fences is architected, I imagine the same would be true regardless of the virtual desktop app used (i.e. those that we didn't make).

I am actually looking to buy the Object Desktop Software Suit, however the above functionality described
is a selling point for me.  If Stardock could fix Fences Pro to work with the Stardock Virtual Desktops application in the
briefly described manner above, I would be sold.  However, without this functionality, I will just forgo the purchase.
Having multiple Fences that are specific to each virtual desktop is a serious tool that I would like to have.  I don't
want all of my icons/shortcuts/folders/fences/etc...to be the same on each virtual desktop.  I would like to set-up
each desktop to my personal preference.  In lieu of that concept, the ability to copy & paste Fences that I did
want to appear on other virtual desktops would seem like a powerful addition.

Unless I have missed something, please inform me if Stardock has already done this and I just missed it :omg: ,

current functionality of the two together seems to work along the following lines.  If you have both programs installed and

decided to move from one virtual desktop to another virtual desktop all of the fences and desktop icons stay the same,

regardless of which desktop you are on.  Also, if you have hidden the icons on desktop 1, they will remain hidden on

desktop 2, desktop 3, and so on, when switching between the different desktops.  So basically, the idea is to have an

option that makes Fences be desktop specific, and perhaps a copy & paste function for individual Fences, in case you

want to have some of the same fences on any of your other desktops.  Although I haven't tested it out yet,

this would seem like it might be useful for the Impulse Dock as well.

Also, if anyone has already done this, or figured it out, please let me know how to do it, or what I need to do

in order to get this sort of functionality.

Thank You in advance. :borg: *_*
