CD Key Recovery
I have misplaced my CD key. Is there any way to recover it?
if you registered you game, you can look it up on impulse. simply right-click the game, and select the view registration option. it even lets you copy it to your clipboard.
however.. if you registered you game, then you really dont need the CD or CDkey anymore, (cause you can install inpulse on the computer in question, log in, and download the game) so chances are you prolly didnt register... in which case... i cant help you. (But someone from support might be able to... might) (it might be hidden in some file or folder on your computer... but that would require fun searching around, that i dont feel like doing for you... dont forget to check hidden folders... expecially appdata... where all the saves and stuff are)
The game appears to be registered to your account. If you enter your email in here: https://www.stardock.com/support/ you can have an email sent to you with your account/registration information.
Also, if you use Impulse, there are two ways you can access your serial numbers from within the program. Be sure that you are logged into Impulse using the email address you used to place your order.
1) Under the My Games or My Software tab, right-click on the title for which you need your serial number and select "View Registration".
2) Click on the blue question mark in the top-right corner of Impulse and select "Register a product with Impulse..." You can copy the serial number to your clipboard by right-clicking on it.
I purchased "Sins Of A Solar Empire" at a retail Superstore before I left for Afghanistan in the spring last year. I never got around to installing it until I was in Afghanistan so I was unable to register it. Now I am back but my C.D. box has not got back to me yet and will not be for some time if at all. So my question is how can I find my serial number on my computer? I know it must be somewhere on my hard-drive right? If so were can I find a "Key Finder" that can get it? I have tried some free "Key Finders" and none of them have worked,is there one that Stardock uses for there software?
Ktgoss, please send an email to support@stardock.com so we can assist you.
