Sorry guys, the clan tags were too oversized for me, and Ninki has also left my clan to spread his propaganda elsewhere, so I am returning to GM where I belong.

DOWN WITH THE BOXXY MENACE

Here's my take - one of the reasons I was pissed with Kal was that he was a buddy and, imo, did the same thing that apparently mcshane did to GM (gutted it to remove a player or 2).  If I've misunderstood, then fine... but the way it looks, mcshane gutted GM to get rid of Ninki... then jumped ship from Boxxy because Ninki vacated and he felt insulted.  It reminds me of how it felt when it was done to me.  So, McShane - best of luck rebuilding GM.  You are a talented DG player and should have tier 1 status, but I don't agree with what you did and how you handled things. 

Boxxy folks - thank you for welcoming me (unlike GM for whatever reason).  That said, I am leaving clan Boxxy.  Please remove me from the roster.  I'll be looking to join OMG, which actually lines up with exactly what I always wanted in DG - a bunch of folks on voice chat willing to play with and against each other. 

Guys that are left - there's no harm, I'm sure, in rejoining GM if you want.  I personally think the best, most logical decision is to join OMG... think about it... we all play DG using VENT.  We all mix and match... and clan v clan doesn't really happen. 

No what mcshane wanted was for everyone to beg and plead for him to come back.  Instead Ninki did something way better and merged the two existing clans.  Now neither GM nor Boxxy will have enough members to play amongst themselves.

Who did I want to beg and plead for me to come back?  I wanted separation from Ninki because he has attached himself to you and becoming more and more like you who I can't stand listening to, that is all, but I didn't want to screw other GM members who Ninki had offered to double the prize money in the tournament for so I left.  Now Ninki is no longer in GM so I am happy to return and he did not merge anything, he doesn't have the ability to do that, he just took over the job he had with GM in a new clan.  If Magnus and Janook join OMG then you can call it a merger but right now Ninki is gone and that's the important thing. The only reason GM didn't die in February and March was because of me and Mith who still hung around and we were 1-2 man clan before everyone came back, I see no reason to let it die now. 

Here's my take-I left because I dislike Ninki.  Kalel left because you were creating a giant clan full of noobs and then you got all pissy about him not wanting to be involved with that so he started to dislike you, similiar to Ninki and I, but that's where the comparisons end.  I did not gut GM I peacefully left without a word to any of the other members and then it fell apart because it's been me holding it together all along while the other members play sporadically.  Had I just made Ninki leave we'd be the same clan minus Ninki, but I feared his offer of doubling the tournament prize money would no longer be available which created the whole mess. 

^If I had left the clan and started a new clan of my own because I had a feud with a member of GM, GM would also have been demolished. Whether or not you want to agree or disagree to that is up to you, but I am pretty confident with that statement. The same thing thing would have occured if Orcun left the clan for some unknown reason. The fact that you believe you and only you had a sole part in keeping the clan together is quite ridiculous.

I also know that it was not just a peaceful move, there were discussions behind closed doors that I have been hearing about from here and there. Whether or not you were involved in those discussions really doesn't matter because I'm currently pushing things forward and moving on from the past. It's just silly to try and dissect everything that happened because it doesn't even matter.

I also know you feel a sense of resentment and regret for what you've done. I do apologize McShane but I really am moving on.

As you like, but all the same, hope the new rebuilt GM works out for you and hope Boxxy, if it continues to exist, works out well for them. 

You've got the whole kal thing wrong though.  What's wrong with you folks that if you have an issue, you can't just tell someone you have a problem with them and resolve it?  I tried on multiple occasions to resolve my grievance with kalel quite directly (which doesn't have anywhere near as much to do with the clan bs).  He's always refused to own up to his behavior, I've decided "fuck it." that's just his character, and that's all there is to it.

I'm all messed up and 1 clan for the whole dg community sounds crazy. There is no point to only have 1 clan

Well... that's true... if there were any clan wars going on.  But if there aren't clan wars or plenty of clan v clan battles going on, then there isn't much point or benefit in belonging to a clan.  Its really a demigod specific issue, though.  I remember a while back being surprised when someone on GM told me that they hardly even got to play 3v3 games with all of GM on the same team.  That sucks!  You can form a clan with your buddies, but the community generally hates premades and will make you wait around for a game.  So, you pretty much need people that are consistently willing to play against you in one form or another while you play as part of your clan.  But what happens if there are 2 small clans (say each with 4 people in them) and 1 clan always wins?  The clan that loses will decide that they don't want to play against the clan that beats them alot... and you are back to waiting for a game. 

There are lots and pros and cons to small clans.  I think the best odds for getting reasonably balanced games in quickly without people complaining about premades, etc, is by joining a larger clan.  That said, there is nothing to keep a smaller clan from challenging the larger clan.

Goodbye former comrade, go with Boxxy in your heart, into your new clan. If things don't work out there, Boxxy always has a home for all talented players, expect when rule 3 is invoked.
