C'mon kids, help this gent out. I'd throw out several titles, but an income drop almost ten years ago stopped me buying music and I haven't been into dance clubs for even longer.

If 'old' (10 yrs +/-) stuff could help, there are several good dance tracks on Basement Jaxx's Rooty ("Where's Your Head At?" was the single, I think), and if you can find and use vinyl, DJ Funk's Booty Anthems 12" is good fun too. Sorry, dunno much about modern 'country' dance stuff; Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. are more my thing in that area.

Woh, vinyl. I sold my DJ turntables long ago but could dig out my old Bang & Olefsen.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will see if I can find it.

Here are some songs that are played in the night clubs in my town. Mostly house/techno/hip hop music.

1. Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - We No Speak Americano

2. Sean Paul - So Fine

3. Cirez D - Glow (Original Mix)

4. Sharam Feat. Anousheh Khalili Dont Say A Word (Christian Smith Remix)

5. Body Rockers - I like the way you move

6. Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey

7. Infected Mushroom - Becoming Insane

8. Kurd Maverick - Ring Ring Ring

9. Deep Fear - Side Kick

10. Rui da Silva - Touch me

11. Armin van Buuren ft Sharon den Adel - In and Out of Love

and my favorite  12. Armin Van Buuren - The Longest Day - 24 (Official Music Video)

Hope this helps. Cheers.

myfist0, have you tried poking around the audio section of the Internet Archive? I've not rooted hard there for serious dance tracks, but there's an interesting selection of Creative Commons-licensed studio tracks from lesser-known artists and some public domain live show recordings from some pretty well-known bands like Los Lonely Boys.

Do a remix of the top songs in iTunes. I'm pretty sure those songs are like the trend now.

myfist0, if you can easily post your playlist after the party, I'd be interested in seeing it. When I was much younger, I rejected all things country. I know the phrase "boot scootin'," but I'd really like to hear some 'country' that mixes well with urban dance stuff.
