Crashing on Win7 x64 every 30 minutes or so

I have recently re-installed Sins and purchased the Diplomacy expansion - we're having fun playing it, but at the moment when playing via Ironclad online  I am crashing about every 30 minutes or so. Currently no one else I am playing with is having this problem.

How can I troubleshoot what might be the cause? Two of us have identical Windows 7 x64 installations, so I'm not sure what the issue might be.

how much ram do you have?

 

i have also win 7 64 but only 2 gig ram and setting from highest to high in the planets and structures textures wokred fine for me.

6GB RAM...I guess I can lower the texture settings, but I have a GTX 295 so I figured I was safe...

If the game is generating a minidump on crash, please send it to support@ironcladgames.com so they can analyze it and identify the problem.

Thank you, I found the files, but they are 0 bytes, so I don't think they'll be useful to Ironclad. I will try lowering the settings and see if that helps.

it may be possible that sins runs over 2 gig of ram on larger maps/engagements when this happens it crashes no matter if you have a 64 bit system and more ram (at least that is what i gathered from the modders on this forum).
