Ah, but nVidia isn't claiming that the future will only EVER BE nVidia video cards. Nor are they saying that their cards will replace microchips.
Apple is claiming that the iPad, which is really just a electronic tablet of some sort, will replace the laptop. Which I disagree with completely, because the two are two different products.
Personally, I also just don't like Apple very much. They make this whole thing that their products are all "hip" and "the latest thing" and are the absolute best thing the world has ever seen since, well, from Apple's perspective, the world began. I consider Microsoft's Windows platforms to be far superior- they have the apps I want, the games I will play, and the tools I need. Macs simply don't have what I want or need.
While I agree that calling the iPad the "iTampon" is a bit immature, Apple rather asked for it considering how close their product's name is to feminine hygiene products.
