WinCustomize Reverted Back to Old Site Temporarily

We experienced some server issues during the transition to the new site today, and unfortunately we had to revert back to the old site for the time being.  Everything is being worked on so hopefully we can get the new site going as soon as possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

It only took about 5 times just to gget the login to work, I kept loging in page would come up it would show I was not logged in. Now it is so slow in loading into FF I thought I was on a 9600 baud modem

Not only was it terribly slow, it actually managed to hang IE 8 while waiting to download pictures and so forth.

The new site as been horrible slow and locks up my entire browser every time i've tried it in the beta site. Your live launch was no exception. Would it be too much to ask that you actually make it work properly before forcing it on us?

You know, Phoon, you're this close to being banned. Every time I see your posts it's whining about something. 2 years of non-stop bitching is enough. I see it again and you're no longer welcome on my site. Am i clear?

I'm all for the new site look! Patience is after all, a virtue! <3

Hmmm.... I can't log in to the new site, and now I can't upload to the old one :(

New site also locked up my browser. B[]

Thanks, I will see if it can get fixed tonight.

And they have fixed the upload links already!

Not a problem. You obviously have put more "tone" into my comments than what was actually there and don't care to hear what customers are not happy with. Good enough. I don't say anything much different than many other customers do, and I don't complain about some of the things others do as well.

What I would like to know is how it's possible for IE to let a site lock it up (this is directed at IE, not Wincustomize, of course)! I mean, I couldn't even close the browser, the Window was totally unresponsive. The only way out was to kill the IE process, which, of course, also killed all other IE sessions. This with IE 8 on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Man...

Actually complaints are good for a corporation. It is the only way to really gauge if the product is good. If the complaints go over a certain percentage you must look at what you are doing wrong possibly and rectify it. No good CEO or Vice President should want total yes men on their staffs it only leads to ego stroking and the company in the long run is the loser.

Complaints are one thing....constant bitching and whining is something else completely. Just sayin....

IE's JavaScript engine is slow as molasses, and the new site contains a lot of it.  I bet it would work fine for you in another browser (the new site is significantly faster for me; I use Safari.)

I too prefer the old site... but I'm not too old or set in my ways.  I can accept change... takes a while sometimes, but if there's a new 'broom' and sweeping changes, I can go with the flow.... when I have to.

The road to the future is bound to have some potholes.:S   I come here to enjoy the wit and wisdom (and talents) of WC's members. New site-old site, makes no difference to me as long as there is a site.

The new WC train may have derailed but the passengers will be ok,just a little shook up.
