What does a skin need to have on the machine to load and be used on a Windows 7 DVD? John

There's nothing on a Win 7 DVD that enables skin use.  Skins are applied to the OS by third party applications...;)

If you mean on a Windows 7 computer, rather than a DVD, it would depend on what kind of skin. If it's a WindowBlinds skin, then you would need the program WindowBlinds from Stardock. There are other skin types such as those for ObjectDock and DesktopX and others that require those programs. Like everyone else, I don't know what your question is, and I'm just guessing.
