Pirates and enemy are red in skirmishes, help! (solved)

Im sure that this is a noob question but i searched and couldn't find the answer.

 

When i play any sins or expansion vs AI in a skirmish ,i always set my enemy up as different colors and my team as different colors.

I and my team show up as the colors as i chose , but the enemy and pirates always show up as red, making it hard to distinguish who i am fighting or who is on a planet.

 

Am i doing something wrong, or is this how the game is set up. Woh do i change this, is there an in game settting, or a mod?

try looking in the options menu

I believe there is a choice between the two

yes... there is a team-together color option, where all enemies become one color, and all friends become one color... to help color blind people i guess.

but ya, options menue, and click around.

There it was the first option under "options".

When i first set up the options and read through them all, i assumed that it ment to use the team colors i chose.
