NooB Games

Was gonna put this in the off-topic forum but meh ... anyway i've been playing demigod for a short time now mainly with my friends, i've watched ALOT of replays and i've skilled up to a degree where i think im viable online :P so im just posting really to mention if you ever see a game hosted by me join up i do put NooB Game in my titles as im aware you don't wanna get caught up in a 30 minute game for me to do something stupid, tho i do have a good grasp (Die UB!) of the gameplay mechanics.

Annnyyyway .. yea, also can i get some feed back on any clans that are up and going

I'm a Tower rook player cos i love lane control tho i do a good TB .... and assassin oak (but who doesn't :P)

funny enuf it's a twist on your build posted in the strat section xD

been playing alot of tower rook recently so forgive me if i forget when to save points :P

depending on the map i change from RoI or Fireball at lvl 1 then just fill those 2 can't remeber what lvl i pick of deep freeze it's to do with my point saving so i can max RoI and fireball each lvl and again depending on what way the fights going and team set up i don't mind picking up fire aura over frost nova but i wouldn't often do it :P

edit* i never noticed i use some many emotes Oo

Sounds like you got a case of the fails. You need some Winquil and you'll be all set! ;)

don't have any handy never thought of keeping any cos i was only playing with my friends but i'll keep them in future and post them within the week, whats your thoughts on TB's end game? i've always felt like a pro mid game but after 15 it's abit tougher on TB tho im loving tower rook atm pwning lanes is fun :P

edit* btw i did like the idea of QoT's but i just don't feel "it" when i play her and iim not a big occulus player either again i just don't gel well with generals tho i do like my assassin oak build cos of monkies xD

Level 15 is the greatest level in the world for me. At that time, ganks are a big deal so you need to avoid being alone.

If you start in Fire mode:

FB: 1350
Switch to Frost
RoI: 800
Frost Nova
Deep Freeze for Triple shatter: 1275

Pow, you just did ~3425 dmg. What I do is toss FBs until you drop someone to ~4000 HP. Then start the combo. By the time you finish, someone else would of done the extra ~500 dmg and life is sweet.

Triple shatter is extremely strong, you just have to spec right to get it at 15.

Edit: speaking of monks. The biggest part of TB is nagging for a priest the first like 8 minutes of the game. Don't give up! Nag so you always have one.

i do love the dmg TB can throw out like the early game AA dmg is great ^^ not alot of online experience but i can't imagine a general not giving me 1 monk :O i mean it's a team game and he's not helping things by not giving me one, tho since you played online, im assuming alot, you kno the everday problems :P

I know right?!

God, I hate being in a lane against UB (it seems like every game) when he has a priest and I dont.

In that case I just whore exp till I can actually dent him without the priest insta-healin him back.

Define end game.  If you mean when creep waves with giants in them are clubbing the formerly powerful Sedna like a baby seal, then TB's endgame is fantastic.  If you're talking about when the opposing team's Beast has Ashkandor... eh, not so much.

Demigod late late game is an art... and with level advantage + creep clearing ability + fire aura/giants/cats + a mass stun + an single target interrupt + more HP stacking cause of BotS...

Imagine TB as a general late game, moving your teams creep waves to combine to the middle ready to filter into the last lane into their citadel... but don't brawl with them, use speed to kite and be their artillery support and aura enchancement, make the enemy worry about the giants heading to their cit while the Tier Ones on your team try and get the portals.  Your job is worrying more about late game side flag control and enemy creep control, though of course its nice to have Frost Nova III and a TP ready if you need to help lock a hostile or friendly portal.

well i do normally find that UB is the big pain late game and since im always playing against one maybe thats the reason for my mind set, spit run spit run then when im getting low he can just chase me down spit, grasp with ooze up and rofl all the way home, I can get an interrupt on spit sometimes but it's hard  ¬_¬

I, for one, was not being hit like a baby seal. I'm a little more mindful of creepwaves than that. D:

On the other hand, you were the first one to die to Mageslayer+Akshandor Beast

Drasonic:

Early game, the best counter to UB is Erebus (mist).

Mid game, the best counter to UB is Sedna (heal III), Erebus (still mist, this is espiecially true if he doesn't have monk support) and Rook (towers)

End game (giant stage), the best counter to UB is a TB

Artifact stage, the only counter to a UB is another UB and possibly an Oak.

Super-Artifact stage, the only counter to a UB is a UB. Only.

I was not referring to you at all my friend, I was thinking about this pain in the ass Sedna I was having a hell of a time push out of her lane the other week... my endless AOE arsenal usually does the trick, but this fellow hadn't put anything into Pounce or speed or cit upgrades and was taking all I could dish and more.

Of course late game things changed a bit, and Bishops didn't have long life spans and having Biting Chill in affect while getting clubbed was brutal but satisfying to watch.

"I'll just capture this flag while these two creep waves fight.  Oh, here comes that wussy TB... no problem.  Hmmm... where'd my friendly creep wave go?  My bishops disappeared too... no problem I'll summon more.  Oh, they're frozen... well, my awesome HP regen should keep me- oh, my that seems to have slowed down considerably... is it just me or am I getting hurt by their creep wave about 15% more than usual?"

Monks still heal while they are frozen D:

No way!  Embarrasse that I didn't know that... I need to play generals more often... that's some BS.

Of course, they ain't  healing if Sed is running for her life and they ain't with her because they're frozen.

The Aura has a range of 15 so they can heal from the flag if your at the tower on Cat

Its "you're" not "your"

See?  Not fun having your mistakes pointed out in public.  :annoyed:

really you should go into Clan Pacov. I mean, we /really/ aren't a traditional clan, it's really just a more-or-less open vent channel that a bunch of people play in. I don't play with most of the people there (antisocial!hedgie) but the average skill level is much less competitive than what GM brings to the table.

There really is no mandatory minimum skill level required, the only requirements are a stable internet connection, not cheating, and having vent installed on your computer so you can listen in if you don't have a mic even. Just be open with everyone that you're still learning the game but you'd be willing to accept advice and in-game critique. Some people are more accepting of it than others so make sure you ask permission first. Eg, I enjoy teaching people how to play through text but I don't like to do it over vent so I rarely do it anymore.

Also, pacov will yell at you so loud and probably cuss at you over the course of the game. Just cuss back at him and tell him to shuttup. That's what I do ;)
