New Multiplicity Issue

I've just updated to the latest MP Pro on my 3 systems.

Primary - Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Secondary 1 - Windows Server 2008

Secondary 2 - Windows XP Pro

Things work fine on the primary and Secondary1 (except for known ctrl-alt-del issue on 2008)

When trying to use secondary 2 it will get a connection and lose it, get connection and lose it, rinse and repeat.

Prior to this update it was working just fine.

I think I got it. After repeated uninstalls and reinstalls I uninstalled MP. Installed ccleaner and ran it a few times.

I then turned of beta's in impulse and installed the version updated on 2/22/2010. This worked ok.

Here's a tricky one. If i turn on view for pre-releases the last updated date changes to 2/18/2010 and shows an update available.

So, the non beta is dated 2-22 and the beta is dated 2-18 ????

I forced a fix through on production. I'm trying to get some other fixes into the beta to update it today.

I had a problem with connecting to my secondaries after the update also...  I submitted a ticket and didn't hear back, but I got this working on my own by:

Check the following Registry key on the non-working secondary:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\Multi

Under DllName there is a path.  Chances are that it is set to %programfiles%\Stardock\ThinkDesk\Multiplicity\MultiWin32.dll when it should be %programfiles%\Stardock\Multiplicity\MultiWin32.dll.  I.E., remove "ThinkDesk\" from whatever is there.  After you make the change, reboot, and hope for the best...

Hope this helps!
