Playing Diplomacy and Entrenchment

Is it possible to play both Entrenchment and Diplomacy at the same time, or do you have to play seperately?

entrenchment is built into Diplomacy.  you cannot play diplomancy without it.

...but you can play Entrenchment without Diplomacy, even if Diplomacy is installed.

Entrenchment is required to play Diplomacy.  (It's in the System Requirements)
