If you still have CursorXP installed make sure it is set to default.  You may even want to uninstall it before installing CursorFX.  In fact if you have both installed, do what I suggested about CursorXP.  Uninstall CursorFX, making sure you have the default cursor first, run a clean up program, reboot and then reinstall CursorFX.

That should clean up your problems.

Thank u Phil for your response:star:   I did exactly what you told me to do, but to no avail. I did uninstall Cursor XP before I wrote to the forum, but I didn't run a cleaners program, but I did and I still can't get the cursors to change, I don't know how many times I'm allowed to keep installing and uninstalling (thru Impulse I mean) This wasn't happening I don't understand:'( oh well, I'm so disappointed, I'm using regular microsoft pointers now, I took Cursor XP off. What to do?

Try removing CursorXP and CursorFX completely with the following removal tool:

http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe

Once you do this, you can reboot and reinstall CursorFX
