Animated backgrounds on Win 7 64bit

Hi all:

I'm trying to have an animated background on Win7 64bit and it's a little frustrating, to say the least. Essentially, I used to have a program called Weather Watcher Live which would download animated radar screens and display them as my wallpaper. Worked great with XP and Vista but is a no go with Win7 since they took that functionality out.

Basically what I want to do is download animated GIFs on a scheduled basis to display as my wallpaper. I have a program that will do this and Win7 desktop background solves the problem of displaying them. They just aren't animated any more.

Any ideas on a program, hack or something that will get me what I want?
