Sudden Lag? This the new thing?

Played a game where MasterOfTime rage quit 3/4 into it.  The other 2 stay in the game , but everytime it gets to a fight with them, it starts lagging.

It would definitely not be both.  It could just be pure coincidence.  I'm just putting it up here, not trying to smudge their names right off, but if anyone else has had a run in with either name and "lag" issues.

 

Like that premade that lags, I thought it was suspicious, but was just me.  Turns out like everyone who's played against them has had the "magic lag" along with the "DG stops moving prior and after lag spikes", making it fairly obvious.

 

If I'm wrong, sorry to point out innocent people.  Just something to watch for, it was pretty obvious in game.  Smooth as hell, then both would usually come at us, lag, chaotic fight, one side retreats, smooth.  Or when one would go for a flag lock, it would lag the f*** up as you tp'd in and tried to stun.

I noticed a lot of the time my game with lag when there is a kill.

...or any time the announcer says anything...

But not every time I've engaged someone.

I've played with all of them without incident. It could have just been a bad connection. Big fights = lots of animation = stress on the CPU and graphics card. The byproduct of course is heat, which always (literally) burns my legs.

Yeah, probably right.  Felt suspicious, I was doing the much hated "shield 3 + tp" push on their flags repeatedly, drawing them away from the main fight.  One said something about "shield won't keep saving your sorry @$$".  Which about then MasterofDicks rage quit their team, and then I would get lagged up so I couldn't get a shield off.  Hell, I'd use it at 4k health, but lag would be so bad, wouldn't go off

Usually when someone is going to try and glitch the game, they will get to 10+ seconds of accumulative lag, and it usually takes 2+ tries. 

It seems to me when there is an intentional glitch 1 of 2 things happens.

The game doesn't appear in pantheon stats for 5+ minutes, or you get a loss and you weren't the one with the lag counter when the game ended.

Sometimes though, the game just fails. Best bet is to check the hall of shame. If the name comes up multiple times and meets the above described criteria, you are dealing with a jerk.
