I don't think anyone considers it "wrong" to pad your game-count and favor point-pool by playing 10 - 15 newb games. You gotta get Blood of the Fallen somehow, right?

BotF, BotS, SoR, and AoT are all you ever need for any character on any map

Not totally. There are a few very special viable combinations out there if you're on Vent and both you and your teammate know about it.

All the favor items you could ever possibly need:

Coin Pouch - Queen: If you shield @ the crystal you can start the game with Scaled Helm + Monks and you get to be Cur bitch in general

Swift Anklet - Speed stacking Sedna/Oak 2v2 Cataract Combo, also decent for a Mana-side Oak for double-farming Mana/XP and power-leveling, good for Ice TB in generall

Amulet of Teleportation

Cape of Plentiful Mana - works for Queen, TB, Sed, esp on Levi. There is a viable 4v4 Levi Sed/Beast combo with the Beast HP stacking and getting Staff of Renewel and using the Sed to regen his mana like BotS.

Wings of the Seraphim - if it wasn't bugged, could be viable for Oak...

Poison Dagger - UB Prison builds, also fun for TB or a Reg

Mard's Hammer - It sucks. It really does. Don't get this.

Essence of Magic - DA can HP stack like a mofo and you can use all his abilities while oom with this

Furious Blades - Works on Exile and Prison for UB with Sedna or Qd ueen support

Heaven's Wrath - Reg in general, esp on Levi

Pendent of Grace - dodge!Erebus a fun build that is actually somewhat viable, but mostly just 'cause Erebus is OP that you can do whatever and make it work

Horn of Battle - still useful for minion builds, though not as good as it once was

Ring of Divine Might - 2v2 Minion Oak builds

Blood Soaked Wand - meannnn push on Cata

Cloak of Night - blinky!Bus, Sed, Queen, Oak can all use this. Doesn't seem to work with Occ

Eh, but BotF is better than any of them 80% of the time. Even when an item is great late game, like say staff of renewal, it doesn't matter because your opponents with BotF will have an advantage.

I agree, these are all niche favor items, but they do have their uses and they are more than viable assuming your team knows ahead of time.

Ive had the same problem.

I joined several pro games and lost them not because I was bad but just because they were tight games and I lost

After getting kicked out of NOOB ONLY games about 5 times I gave up and got re-addicted to SupCom

Haha I didn't name you man. But it's cool. I used to do the same. Wouldn't let anyone in that didn't have the proper credentials. I used to alt-tab to check on peeps that joined hehe. But we did make occasional exceptions. But once again, no hate to you.

Same problem. Even though people kicking people me because I wasnt good enough were people I beat regulary when I played pre-reset.

No but seriously TB is not a good character and if you want to play in Pro games you better play a tier I(oak/UB/erebus) or get someone to vouch for you.
